Falderal Musical Theater Company is pleased to announce open auditions for their December 2005 musical, Sweet Miracles, an entirely original musical with book, music and lyrics by Gabriel, Larry and Shirley Groom. Sweet Miracles takes place over two Christmas seasons during WWII. The story follows a young military wife, Miracle, as she journeys through California while her husband is in the Pacific. Along the way, she lands in a small town where she meets a host of characters who together, find the importance of family, community and forgiveness. Gabriel Groom’s original score includes catchy 1940’s style swing tunes as well as contemporary pop ballads -- music that will be fun to learn, sing and perform.

Falderal is seeking 10 - 18 singer/actors aged 18 – 70 + to play multiple roles in this world premiere production. In addition, help is needed in a variety of behind-the-scenes roles, including technical/designer positions, publicity, office work and more!

Saturday, Aug. 27th from 10:30am-12:30 pm at the Eureka Church of the Nazarene, 2039 E St., Eureka
Monday, Aug. 29th from 6pm – 8pm at the Carson Block, on 3rd St between F and G St., Eureka
Wednesday, Aug 31st from 6pm – 8pm at Bold Images, 280 Aldergrove Rd., Arcata

Please be prepared to sing a song and read from the script. An accompanist will be provided, or you can bring background accompaniment on CD/tape.
